Residential Garbage Collection in Creston
Northern Illinois Disposal provides Creston residents with a 95-gallon waste container only, specifically designed to accommodate the needs of larger families and households that generate higher volumes of waste. Replacement or additional totes are available for $72/ annually up front NO delivery fee.
Household trash only—no electronics or hazardous materials accepted. Collection occurs weekly on Fridays.

Yard Waste Collection in Creston
Yard Waste is picked up in April through November please contact the office for exact dates. Yard waste material must be placed in compostable paper bags weighing no more than 50lbs. 5 Bag limit.
Twigs, branches and other types of large brush that cannot fit into either of these containers must be placed in bundles, no more than 4 feet long by 2 feet in diameter. Branches and limbs exceeding 4 inches in diameter will not be accepted. Bundles should be tied with string or twine, not metal. Additional restrictions to yard waste collection include mulch, tree stumps, roots balls or other vegetation mixed with excessive amounts of soil. No bag, can, or bundle can weigh more than 50 pounds when loaded. Yard waste cannot be mixed with regular garbage nor placed in plastic bags for pickup.
Bulky Item Collection in Creston
Bulky Items will be collected on your regularly scheduled collection day at no charge. Bulk items exceeding 50 pounds will require an additional fee. Contact us to schedule a collection.
Bulk items include: boxes, barrels, crates, furniture, and similar items that do not fit into a proper container and can be collected/lifted by one driver without assistance. Exceptions include items which are banned from direct disposal into a landfill (appliances, tires, car batteries, TV’s, electronic waste). No construction waste accepted.
Contact us to schedule a pick up in advance. Items should not be placed at the curb until the evening before the confirmed scheduled collection.
