Residential Garbage Collection in Lee
Northern Illinois Disposal provides Village of Lee residents with a 95-gallon waste container, ideal for managing weekly household trash. Collection occurs every Friday.
Residents may also rent an additional 95-gallon container for $36 per year, plus a $25 delivery fee - 1st year billed upfront. Can also be purchased for $75 with an additional $25 delivery fee.
Recycling Service in Lee
Recycling service is also available to residents, with a 65-gallon container provided to support responsible recycling in the community. All recyclables must be placed loose in the container—plastic bags are not allowed, and cardboard should be broken down into 3 ft. x 3 ft. bundles.
Bulky Item Collection in Lee
Two bulky items will be collected on your regularly scheduled collection day at no charge. Bulk items exceeding 50 pounds will require an additional fee. Contact us to schedule a collection.
Bulk items include: boxes, barrels, crates, furniture, and similar items that do not fit into a proper container and can be collected/lifted by one driver without assistance. Exceptions include items which are banned from direct disposal into a landfill (appliances, tires, car batteries, TV’s, electronic waste). No construction waste accepted.
Contact us to schedule a pick up in advance. Items should not be placed at the curb until the evening before the confirmed scheduled collection.
